KENWOOD MEMORY CHANNEL CONTROL PROGRAM
MCP-G71 Version 2.00

INTRODUCTION
- This program is for editing memory channels on the KENWOOD amateur radio TH-G71A.
- This program may be redistributed freely in North and South America. It is not supported in any other markets outside of the U.S.. It may, not be modified. Redistribution of this program for profit is prohibited.
- Permission is required if this program is to be redistributed on individuals' home pages.
- KENWOOD does not, and cannot assume liability for any problems that may occur as a result of using this program.
- This program runs on Windows 95.(*1) About 1 Mbytes of free space on the hard disk is needed to install this program.
- To write to or read from the TH-G71A memory, a separate connector cable PG-4P (option) is required.

INSTALLATION
1. Copy MG71200.EXE to the directory in which you want to install the program.
2. Execute MG71200.EXE. The following programs are automatically created:
   MCP_G71.EXE
   README.TXT
   MCP-G71.HLP
   MCP-G71.CNT
3. By executing MCP_G71.EXE

UNINSTALLATION
1. Delete the entire directory to which the following files have been copied:
   MCP_G71.EXE
   README.TXT
   MCP-G71.HLP
   MCP-G71.CNT
2. You can alse use short-cut commands to delete the directory if it was made using short-cut commands.
3. Delete "Software" "KENWOOD" from "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" by Windows 95(*1) Regedit. 
   However, delete only "MCP-G71" under "KENWOOD" when other MCPs are installed.
   Carefully carry out registry operations taking care not to delete other registry data.
   If you are unsure of registry operations, no problems will be met if you do not delete files.
4. When files have been linked, delete the [71 File] by [File Types] in the [View] - [Options] menu in the Explorer.

CAUTION
For DTMF memory channels you do not program with DTMF Codes using the MCP-G71, the contents of the channels on the radio will remain unchanged.
